The last episode of our SMP fun in Cronus for today; we leave you with a few images of our watery builds, our Watchtower and some general randomness.
1-4. The Watchtower, overlooking all of our territory. The ground floor contains a small kitchen and storage area, whereas the basement provides a well, a hidden latch into the surface and a sealed portal to the Underworld. We tried to keep it open, but the evil forces that persisted in seeping through were too much to handle. Thus, it has been sealed indefinitely.
The tower’s rooftop contains a resting and sentinel area from which we can shoot arrows against the creeps that invade our territory. During sunny, peaceful days, we can rest in the small hot pool or even jump off the tower all the way down into the larger ground pool we built. It’s guaranteed to be safe - just as long as you don’t miss the water.
5-6. Our fishing shack across a lilypad bridge, floating in the sea. Many fishing sessions have gone by in this humble but sturdy building, mostly safe from pesky skeletons that seem to have a fondness for raw fish. Well, we can’t really blame them - sushi is simply delightful!
7-8. Close by to the fishing shack is the underwater viewing lounge we recently built. Encased in seamless, nearly-unbreakable glass, this comfortable room has all the features we need to have a well-deserved rest and gaze upon the fishies and the octopi swimming about. Just try not to break the glass, or else the result might not be so relaxing at all.
9-10. And finally, some random leftover imagery for y’all. Showcasing iron and golden armour bits in DokuCraft are NessieChan and Rykardow, grand models in the whole of Minecraftia! Don’t mind Rykardow, he gets a little camera-shy sometimes. :)
Last, but certainly not least, this fancy “little” purple blob of a slime begged us to let her model in Twitcraft. Though her expression may be slightly off-putting, she’s actually quite the charming lady. Just try not to step on her toes, or she might step on you instead. Literally.
Even more SMP fun in Cronus, showcasing the few “spiritual” structures we’ve built so far.
1-3. The Church of Saint Testificate, whose nose is always “runny” - thus His humble followers provide a daily tribute in the form of tissues, to keep the vine— I mean, the snot at bay.
The Church is protected by a waterfall and the sea, the only entrances being through the seaside walkway that runs along the base of its cliff, as well as the clergy house on the spring of the waterfall, atop the mountain.
Disclaimer: the windows and entrance to the Church are in no way intended to look like a creeper or ghast face. Any similarity is pure coincidence.
4-6. The Canine Sphinx, that protects the Temple to Cleopatra. Though it may seem bulky, it is actually hollow, and conceals a sacred sanctuary to all canine friends. The entrance isn’t exactly in the best of places, but it does its job right. Just mind the “dirt”…
7-8. The Sandstone Temple to Cleopatra. On the surface, a sacrificial altar stands where ancient people once slaughtered all kinds of animals in the glory of our Cleopatra - but never sheep, not once, for the Lady was fond of those fleecy creatures, and wished none to be harmed in our worship.
At the mouth of the cliff stands the entrance to the temple main hall and catacombs, deep underground. The walls are carefully decorated with polished sandstone and hieroglyphs detailing the glories and feats of the Goddess, and stand as testimony to Her holy greatness.
Moar SMP fun in Cronus. This time, a view of the skirts outside our home.
1. The balcony at our house’s main entrance;
2. (Nearly) all the farms in the Minecraft world: melons and pumpkins, wheat, sugar cane and cactus at the very end. To the left, you can see our lilypad bridge leading into our fishing shack floating in the sea;
3. A small garden with dandelions (blue flowers in DokuCraft), jungle ferns and oak leaves as bushes. Above it is our Watchtower and the uphill walkways.
4. Another small garden with roses, blue-textured dandelions and oak leaf bushes, this time leading in to our sugar cane farm.
5. A view of our animal pens, though you can’t see the chicken one which is right around the corner in the distant walkway. You can see, however, a glimpse of our sandstone temple dedicated to Cleopatra, also known as NessieChan~~ ;)
6. A far view from atop our waterfall house showing most of our current surface territory. You might also spot our canine sphinx guarding the Temple. ;)
7. A night shot of our waterfall and the Church of Saint Testificate behind it, as well as the top of the Temple to Cleopatra and the house atop the falls.
Rewind! ~~ Some of my recent endeavours with Rykardow and NessieChan in SMP, this time in DokuCraft’s flavour.
This episode: our primary home, our very first creation. I still remember that silly little grass shelter that hadn’t even a roof…
1-3. A sunken bedroom with a few potted plants, merged with our kitchen and storage area. The main entrance to the right, the back-door to our farms to the left, and a slightly elevated door into a small balcony outside.
Also, note the Iron Golem we spawned in there. Iron Golems make handy housekeepers - especially against sneaky intruding Endermen!
4-6. The basement, suspended by brick pillars and full of brewing supplies. An enchantment table with a low-to-mid level bookshelf structure and three brewing stands make up for all our magickal needs.
And believe me - those chests are currently packed full with potions I brewed myself. Apart from farming, that’s another of my insatiable Minecraft hobbies. ;)
7. The Wall o’ Brewing - a quick and highly summarized tutorial for guests that wish to play around with the brewing stands. Guaranteed to get you neat potions as long as you don’t break those damage or poison retorts right at your feet.
Extra! ~~ My old world based on the seed for Millbee’s “Millcraft: A Tale of Minecraft Survival”.
1. Initial utility home, tree, wheat and sugar cane farms and artificial stone river basin;
2. A sheerly shoved sheep-pen shaped like a shield (+25 points for added alliterative appeal!);
3-5. Views of ground and basement levels for my utility home.
Alas, I don’t play this worldsave anymore. Been too busy playing SMP and trying to prevent old saves from breaking due to updates. Heh.
